About the Author

Teia Martinez is the founder of Teia Martinez Ministries and the Inner Healing and Deliverance office, Healing Hearts International Ministries, established in 2017. With a heart for revival, Teia leads a dedicated team of ministers and volunteers who help others experience freedom, healing, and breakthrough. Thousands have encountered transformation through her ministry, which she and her husband, Carlos, relocated to the Houston, Texas area in 2021. Together, they have three grown children, and five grandchildren. This is Teia's second book, following Deliverance and Inner Healing for Children and Teens.

Around 20 years ago, my friends Dr. Bill and Janet Sudduth introduced me to their ministry team, which included Teia Martinez. They taught her well, and our regular connecting through the annual conferences of the International Society of Deliverance Ministers have kept us in touch personally through the years.

One of the greatest joys of ministry is to see younger people grow and mature and that is certainly true of Teia. I am thrilled to see her new book, Empowered for Freedom, which provides the tools for many to be set free from those bondages that hold people back from spiritual, physical and emotional healing and wholeness. Teia’s book is DIY (Do It Yourself) as it’s easy to understand and apply.
