What’s the Difference Between Inner Healing Ministry Appointments, and Mentorship?
Healing ministry appointments are focused, Spirit-led sessions that address specific areas like trauma, unforgiveness, or spiritual oppression. If you’re just beginning your journey toward freedom or know there are wounds holding you back, this is where we start. Healing is foundational for every believer.
Mentorship, on the other hand, is for those who are ready to grow into the person God created them to be. You’ve tasted freedom and glimpsed your calling — now it’s time to eliminate the barriers, gain clarity, and start moving forward. This 12-week mentorship is discipleship, direction, and transformation in action.
While healing may still take place during mentorship, the focus shifts from inner repair to forward momentum — setting goals, finding purpose, and becoming who God has called you to be.
About Teia
Teia Martinez is the President at Teia Martinez Ministries. She has said "Yes" to God’s call upon her life and is passionate about seeing individuals and families set free. She firmly believes every person should be empowered to fulfill their destiny and purpose. Her desire is to see God’s people of all ages healed, equipped, and activated. Teia grew up in an unchurched home, and became a mother and a wife at the young age of 15, but the love of God captured her heart at age 19 and her whole family was saved shortly after that. Ever since she was saved, she has passionately pursued the power of God and intimacy with Him. In 2009, Bill and Janet Sudduth, deliverance ministers from the Brownsville Revival, heard God ask them to mentor Teia, and she began to learn to minister inner healing and deliverance. Bill and Janet started RAM Ministry in Colorado Springs, CO, and Teia worked for their ministry for 9 years. During that season, the Lord laid it on Teia's heart to start a small women’s Bible study. That small group grew to become Arise Women’s Gathering, a place where many women receive ministry, equipping, and a sense of their place in the Kingdom.
In 2018, Teia became the director of the Colorado Springs ministry, now called Healing Hearts International Ministries. Teia, along with her team of ministers and volunteers, provides inner healing and deliverance to those seeking freedom. In early 2021, the Lord led Teia and her husband Carlos, to establish a second ministry center in the Houston, Texas area.
Teia answered God’s call to begin providing ministry to children, teens, and families many years ago, and she specializes in this very special type of healing ministry.
Teia is available to speak, minister, and train in the areas of healing, deliverance, ministry to children, and women’s ministry.
Teia is married to Carlos Martinez and have a son and two daughters and 5 grandchildren.
