Lola first connected with HHIM in Colorado in 2015 while walking through her own journey of inner healing and deliverance, where she experienced profound freedom. From a young age, the Lord cultivated in her a heart for women. She worked as a hairstylist for 16 years, never realizing that God would use relationships with clients—eventually including Sara Michalski and Teia Martinez—to radically change her life.

Lola has been married to her husband, Ben, for almost 14 years, and they have one son, David. They live in West Des Moines, Iowa, where Ben serves as Senior Pastor of their church. Lola supports the ministry through behind-the-scenes administrative work and deeply values partnering with her husband in church leadership. She considers it a joy and an honor to witness lives transformed for the glory of Christ.

In 2025, Lola stepped into a new season by founding Arise to Freedom Ministries, a nonprofit focused on inner healing and deliverance. She is passionate about helping people know their identity in Christ by being rooted in God’s presence and walking in His power.

Lola enjoys laughing, discipling and raising her son, teaching, worship, reading, and traveling with her family.
